Asthma Continues to Afflict Millions

The CDC recently released their report on Asthma Statistics. The Highlights of the report include the following:

• About 8.2% of the US population has asthma
• That is 24.9 million people in the US
• 17.4 million adults have asthma
• 7.1 million children have asthma
• 14.2 million lost work days were due to asthma
• 10.5 million lost school days were due to asthma
