The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the Allegra® family of allergy medication products for over-the-counter (OTC) use in adults and children two years of age and older. Additionally, Allegra-D®, which also relieves nasal congestion and sinus pressure, will be available without a prescription at the pharmacy counter for use in adults and children 12 years of age and older.
